CNC turning produces parts by “turning” material and feeding it against a cutter tool. In CNC turning, the cutter can be fed into the rotating workpiece at a variety of angles. CNC turning is typically used to makes parts that are commonly symmetrical around a center axis. CNC turning can provide a variety of plain, taper, contour, fillet and radius profiles plus threaded surfaces. Although many turned parts use a single axis of revolution, there are also multiple axiis to allow more flexibility. CNC turning can be combined with CNC milling and other processes to provide more challenging shapes. We have 2 CNC lathes than operate as our turning centers.
